I have a good job, good kids, and a great husband. I just don't feel happy. I know God is there, I have a relationship with Him. He is in my life, but U still feel unhappy.

Comment on How I was saved.

I too grew up in a Christian household. I made my decision to follow Christ at a very ealy age. Like alot of children raised in the church though I rebelled as a young teen and adult, it was not until my mid to late 20's that I really started to understand and live the gift that Jesus has given us.

Comment on How I was saved.

I like you're story - very similar to mine and many others I've heard. We seem to do the things that others do, just because that's what is expected. Somehow the Holy Spirit seems to lift the veil at the right time, and we begin to see what God has planned in our own lives. I had gone to church for many years without really understanding the work of Christ. In my case, some friends in high school shared the good news with me. I gave my life to Jesus a couple of months later, after I began to understand that he died for me, and that my relationship with him could be very personal.

Comment on Bible discover groups

I have learned a lot in small group bible studies.
